Michele Cox and husband have recently purchased and restored a turn-of-the-century house in the historic area of Fayetteville, Georgia. It is called Southern Oaks. AllVictorian Adventures programs are conducted there.

Some of these activities include:

·        "Themed tea parties" for ladies of all ages, which include costumes, historic vignettes, tea and authentic tea party foods, and music, from several periods in history.

·        Etiquette classes for elementary and middle school aged boys and girls where table manners, grooming and social skills are presented.

·        School field trips where local elementary students participate in "hands-on" learning about different periods in our history, particularly, the Civil War era and the Colonial period. (see "Historic Education" link for current school program info.)

·        Girl Scout sessions where activities that will help earn badges and try-its are presented, such as "Folk Arts," for Juniors, and "Listening to the Past," and etiquette, for Brownies.

·        The Petite Par~teas birthday parties are conducted in this facility. Our signature Victorian Tea party is offered for girls ages 7 and up, as well as our Little Lady Dress-Up Party for girls ages 4-6. (see "Children's Tea Parties" link for descriptions of the dress-up par-teas.).

·        Weddings! The spacious ballroom can accommodate intimate weddings of up to 75 guests. The interior of the house can hold a "stand-up" reception of up to 150 guests. The spacious back yard is perfect for outdoor garden weddings for large or small groups, with plenty of room to set up a tent, if desired. A beautiful gazebo has been built in the back yard, which is perfect for outdoor ceremonies.
